Stonebridge Lofts

If you’re looking for great views and top amenities in a vibrant community, let us introduce you to Stonebridge Lofts. Located at the east edge of Gold Medal Park in the historic Mill District, you’ll love coming home to custom-built condos with elegant, upgraded features. You’ll also appreciate how convenient the area is, with remarkable walkability for your daily needs and easily accessible public transportation.

Stonebridge lofts offer unsurpassed views of the city and the river, bringing the best of downtown Minneapolis within reach. There are fantastic parks, walking paths, shopping, dining, and entertainment right outside your door. Every necessity from groceries to fitness to childcare is in easy reach.

Construction on Stonebridge began in 2013, the first new condominium project in the city since 2008. These lofts were highly anticipated, and they did not disappoint. The building’s elegant construction highlights industrial glass, steel, and concrete elements, giving a striking contemporary look that complements the more historic buildings in the area.

Units are new, modern, and luxurious. The windows are floor-to-ceiling, flooding your loft with natural lift and offering spectacular views. You’ll love the expansive ceilings and warm maple flooring that come in every unit. Many units also feature upgraded luxury fixtures, gourmet kitchens, and custom details.

There are a variety of floorplans you can choose from in this 12-story building. Condos are 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, or generous 3-bedroom units, ranging in size from 969 SqFt to a luxurious 2,947 SqFt Many of the 164 units have their own private balconies. Twelve parking spaces are available for your guests.

At Stonebridge, your association fees cover the costs of air conditioning, heat, cable TV, trash removal, water and sewage services. Of course, lawn care, snow removal, professional management, and exterior maintenance are also included. Unlike many complexes in the area, your caretakers are right on site. If there is a problem or an emergent situation, your professional staff can address it right away.

The building also has some incredible amenities that you’ll enjoy as a resident. There’s an onsite fitness area to get in your cardio or weights. A large community room is provided for you to use for get-togethers and socializing.

If you’re one of the many Minneapolis dog lovers, Stonebridge is extra-friendly for pets, allowing two per unit. There is a dog run on the property for some good exercise for your puppy, or you can take them to the adjacent Gold Medal Park or the many walking trails along the River.

You’ll appreciate the rooftop patio and various community decks to enjoy panoramic views of the downtown skyline, Gold Medal Park, the Mississippi River, or the historic Mill District. Residents also have access to storage lockers for all those items you don’t want cluttering your loft.

How could we fail to mention the fantastic outdoor pool that you can enjoy in the warm weather as a resident of Stonebridge? You’ll find it on the rooftop, which doesn’t get any better for urban swimming by sunshine or starlight. There’s a rooftop hot tub as well.

You’ll love living in the historic Mill District of Minneapolis. The area was once home to numerous flour mills that lined the Mississippi, and the Fortune 500 company, General Mills, is still headquartered in the city. Gold Medal Park, which is adjacent to Stonebridge, is named for the famous flour still sold today.

After the mills closed, many buildings in the area sat vacant for decades, until the projects to convert mills and warehouses into residences and businesses began. The entire district is part of the National Historic Register of Historic Places, and you can easily walk to Mill Ruins Park or the Mill City Museum to absorb more of this neighborhood’s distinctive history.

Your new home at Stonebridge is within reach of several of Minneapolis’s top landmarks, including the Mississippi Riverfront, the famous Guthrie Theater, and, of course, the Stone Arch Bridge that inspired the name of the building. It’s easy to get outdoors and walk or cycle along both banks of the river and to take in the sights.

For a variety of craft brews and some local charm, try a Brown Shugga pint and some octopus-on-a-stick at Grumpy’s Bar & Grill. If old-world Italian fare is something you crave, you can’t go wrong with a meal at the Old Spaghetti Factory, celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2019. Try a Lavender London Fog or a nitro brew Infinite Black Cold Press from the Dunn Brothers Coffee located just around the corner, or get your pizza fix from Sarpino’s.

Or, if you want to try the best seafood in the city, served up from recipes by a James Beard-winning chef, you won’t want to miss getting a table at Sea Change. The restaurant focuses on sustainable seafood, sourcing its food from fisheries that use environmentally responsible methods. If seafood isn’t your game, the menu also has a variety of “Not Fish” items, as well as late night small plates and a raw bar.

Even if you don’t have children, a good neighborhood has good schools, and the schools surrounding Stonebridge are fantastic for young people of all ages. You can choose from Marcy Open Elementary School, or Lake Harriet Community School, both public K-8 institutions. For high school, residents can choose DeLaSalle High School, a Catholic school, and Washburn High, a public school. The excellent schools keep the Mill District in demand and your property values high.

We would love to show you the exquisite condos available at Stonebridge and the delights around every corner of the Mill District. Give us a call at Roost and we will be happy to help.
