People come to this two-story store from miles around to shop the seven rooms of incredible selections. In particular, you will love the impressive stained glass windows. Also check out the Red Wing pottery, cookie jars, bobbleheads, and vintage ads.

Another neighborhood favorite is SophieJoes’s Emporium. This massive store contains vintage clothing finds, as well as contemporary fashion. Furthermore, there are magnificent pieces for your home. SophieJoe’s is unique because more than 40 dealers contribute items for you to peruse and procure.

You’ll be pleased with the schools in the area. For public schools, Jackson Magnet Elementary School is for pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. Ramsey Middle School is for students in sixth through eighth grade. Central Senior High School is a large high school for ninth through twelfth grades.

Educational options in the West End don’t stop at high school graduation. Metropolitan State University is nearby, and Macalester College and Concordia University-St. Paul are within a few miles.
